The Lost Thing
On a beach in a city too busy to look up, a bottle-top collector discovers an enormous, unclassifiable creature that seems to belong nowhere. Adapted by Shaun Tan from his own book, it builds a rust-coloured world of pipes and paperwork where wonder is an administrative inconvenience.
